Manushi Microfinance began in April 2002 as a key program of Manushi, established in 1991 to empower people through skill development and income-generating activities. To enhance these efforts, Manushi introduced microfinance services to provide financial access and support entrepreneurship, especially among women. Over the years, it evolved into an independent financial institution, officially registered under the Company Act of Nepal. It received a “D” class bank license from Nepal Rastra Bank on Ashoj 25, 2075 B.S., continuing its mission of financial inclusion and sustainable growth.
